The AQIS’09 meeting will focus on quantum information science and technology, a new interdisciplinary field bridging quantum physics, computer science, mathematics, and information technologies. AQIS’09 will be a natural successor of EQIS’01-EQIS’05 and AQIS’06-AQIS’08. At the same time, AQIS’09 is expected to bring new quality to this so successful series of conferences. AQIS’09 will consist of invited talks, selected oral presentation, posters, and other activities. Contributions for short communications and posters will be solicited in the research areas related to quantum information science and technology, including, but not limited to:
