Passport and Visa Requirements

Each foreign visitor wishing to enter the People's Republic of China should have a valid passport and formally obtain a Chinese visa before entering.

• We strongly recommend that you check with Chinese embassy of your country or travel agency.

Entry into China for 90 days is easier to obtain a Visa. Participants requiring visas should apply well in advance to Chinese consular offices or diplomatic missions in their countries prior to making final travel arrangements with a travel agent.    

1.     Please apply for Chinese visa not less than one month prior to your intended travel date .  

< Application of Invitation Letter >

•       A letter of invitation may be required with your visa application.

•       If you require an invitation letter, please send e-mail to aqis09@njupt.edu.cn

•       One of  the following is necessary:

1)an oral or a poster submission  

2)a short curriculum vitae and a recent publication list
(Either text, TeX, dvi, ps ms-word or  pdf format is recommended.)

2.     Visitors from Singapore ,Brunei and Japan can visit China temporarily(for up to 15 days) without a visa.
